SOFTSWISS, alongside iGB and ICE, has announced the launch of the Tech Race Summit 2026, an event aimed at fostering discussions on engineering and technology within the iGaming industry. Scheduled for September 10, 2026, in Warsaw, Poland, the summit will assemble key players from cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, cybersecurity, observability, and AI adoption, featuring representatives from organizations like AWS, Google, Oracle, Cloudflare, Fastly, Gcore, and ScyllaDB.
WorldGaming will serve as the media partner for the Tech Race Summit, enhancing the platform for industry stakeholders to deepen their engagement in these crucial discussions. The ideas and insights shared during the summit are expected to be further explored at ICE 2027.
The program will center on technical decision-making, engineering experiences, and future trends in digital infrastructure. Despite numerous industry events, there has been a noticeable gap in platforms specifically focusing on technological challenges affecting high-load industries from an engineering viewpoint.
Margaret Dunn, the portfolio director at WorldGaming (formerly Clarion), commented, "Technology is becoming one of the defining forces in iGaming, yet dedicated engineering discussions have remained relatively rare. As we will be focusing on this topic at ICE 2027, we are pleased to support Tech Race Summit 2026.
"Encouraging knowledge sharing across the industry is something we see as an important responsibility, and we believe these conversations will benefit the entire sector," Dunn added.
Sergey Kastukevich, CTO of SOFTSWISS, highlighted that the event would provide a platform for exchanging practical experiences and gaining insights into the future direction of cloud infrastructure, AI, and high-load systems.
AI has emerged as a significant topic within the iGaming field, with many companies rapidly adopting various large language models. For instance, iGaming platform provider Cubeia is utilizing AI to automate the development of its backend and frontend code to enhance its speed in delivering updates to clients. AI is increasingly influencing gaming experiences, particularly in live casinos and slot games. However, as AI becomes more prevalent, the industry's broader challenges regarding its adoption and the technology firms behind these advancements are likely to gain more attention.
Early bird tickets for the Tech Race Summit are available until July 31 on the event's website.
