Inside mr.Booster’s Comprehensive Marketing Approach

Managing a fragmented marketing setup poses significant challenges for iGaming operators, particularly when responsibilities are split among various contractors. The result can often include delays in coordination and inconsistencies that hinder timely campaign launches.

Recognizing this issue, mr.Booster positioned itself as a full-cycle marketing agency, capable of offering an extensive array of services required by operators. Initially, the agency focused on media buying and video advertising, but it quickly broadened its scope to include SEO, retargeting, and brand protection, effectively consolidating all marketing-related efforts into one cohesive operation.

Leonid Pudov, the chief executive of mr.Booster, highlighted the advantages of their unified approach, stating, "Since all in-house teams work tightly together, everyone sees the full picture of the project rather than isolated tasks. This approach leads to fast launches, unified analytics, immediate troubleshooting, and campaign optimisation."

The agency, which also serves clients in various sectors such as fintech, e-commerce, and Web3, integrates its in-house marketing expertise with proprietary technology solutions. The mr.Booster Ad Platform facilitates the launch of advertising campaigns, while the Retarg feature aids in user retargeting and retention efforts. Furthermore, the tool BrandDuck helps identify branded search traffic captured by affiliates and competitors.

The agency's innovative "Hybrid Intelligence" model combines human expertise and AI, allowing high-volume workflows to be optimised and accelerated. A team of over 130 specialists drives strategy and accountability while more than 200 AI agents assist in automating processes for campaign execution, localisation, search engine reputation management, and SEO monitoring. This system enables one SEO specialist to manage multiple websites efficiently.

mr.Booster has experienced significant growth since joining the RedCore international business group a year ago. Initially in a startup phase, the agency recognised the necessity to enhance its support for a larger business environment.

Pudov remarked, "We already had the technology, an experienced team, and proven marketing solutions, but our partnership with RedCore has allowed us to accelerate our growth, expand our capabilities, and move toward a larger-scale business model."

In the past year, mr.Booster has expanded its client roster from 60 to 200, and its workforce has also grown. The agency now operates globally, with robust activity throughout the CIS, Europe, Australia, Latin America, and the Asia-Pacific region. Plans are underway for further expansion into Tier-1 markets.

The agency also aims to increase the value derived from existing traffic, tackling a common challenge for operators. Campaign observations indicate that a considerable portion of prospective users may exit before making a first deposit, highlighting opportunities for compliant re-engagement.

Retarg, mr.Booster's acquisition and retargeting platform, assists operators in reconnecting with users who have disengaged. It utilises precise audience segmentation and multipoint campaigns while adhering to privacy and marketing communication regulations.

"[Our] approach prevents marketing budgets from going to waste and has the potential to increase player LTV," said Pudov. Campaigns are designed to reach only eligible users, in compliance with responsible gambling policies, self-exclusion rules, and local regulations. Clients can either manage their own campaigns or collaborate with mr.Booster for strategy, creative production, and ongoing optimisation.

In one notable case, an iGaming brand in Latin America and the CIS successfully used Retarg to craft targeted messages for three distinct groups. Users active within the past week, inactive users for 60–180 days, and those who never deposited received tailored promotional messages and re-engagement communications that adhered to local laws. The outcome was striking; the conversion rate from registration to deposit surged from 10% to 25%, while in Latin America, the cost per first deposit for users with no prior deposits was just $4.06, which is significantly lower than the cost of acquiring new players in that market.

In addition to re-engagement, mr.Booster focuses on helping operators recover potential customers who may not reach their websites. Brands investing in awareness often find users directed to affiliate pages, competitors, or unrelated third-party sites instead of their own during searches for their name.

According to Pudov, searches containing "login" or "promo code" indicate high intent. Case studies reflect that affiliates and competitors can seize over 40% of this high-intent branded traffic if search engine results are not monitored, leading to inflated acquisition costs. "You have already paid to acquire a user, but someone else gets the conversion. Many brands then have to pay to acquire the same user again – effectively paying twice," he explained.

mr.Booster's BrandDuck tool allows teams to identify and manage the exposure their brands face in the search results. The tool tracks the top 100 results for branded searches and categorizes URLs, thereby enabling marketing teams to investigate issues and collaborate with partners as needed.

An Australian iGaming client, for instance, found that third-party review sites and affiliates dominated their branded search results. Through BrandDuck, the agency continuously monitored daily results, identified leakage, and gathered evidence for formal complaints, while also constructing a supportive website network to enhance the client's visibility.

"This ongoing SERP maintenance, plus a satellite network we've built to dominate top positions, allowed us to reclaim 60% of branded search results and bring acquisition costs down to $44 per deposit," Pudov affirmed.

Looking ahead, mr.Booster plans to expand its focus while continuing to develop its products and sub-services. The agency aims to broaden its client base beyond the CIS and into Latin America, North America, and additional regions, with aspirations to deliver more comprehensive marketing projects. This strategy will provide partners with integrated support as they venture into new markets or scale their campaigns. Moreover, mr.Booster intends to offer BrandDuck as an independent product.

The agency is also set to enhance the use of AI within its operations, spanning traffic acquisition, marketing, design, workflows, and software development, while hiring more specialists to accommodate its geographic and workload expansions.

Pudov expressed confidence in this multifaceted growth, stating, "In short, we don’t plan to stick to a single focus area, so you will definitely see us broadening our scope in many ways next year." Amidst this growth, mr.Booster's commitment remains: to connect acquisition, re-engagement, and brand protection, enabling operators to extract maximum value from the demand they generate.
