The integration replaces a text box in ChatGPT that appears when users inquire about the 2026 FIFA World Cup matches. Users can now see the current market odds from Kalshi directly in the chatbot. For instance, reports indicate that France has a 60% chance of winning while England stands at 55%.
OpenAI confirmed that this feature is specifically available for questions regarding the 2026 World Cup. However, it emphasized that the information provided is purely for informational purposes, and users will not be able to place bets through the app.
This new tool comes at a time when prediction markets are experiencing considerable growth. Data from Dune Analytics shows that Kalshi's trading volume surpassed $33 billion last month, significantly outpacing competitor Polymarket. By including Kalshi odds in ChatGPT, OpenAI underscores the increasing value of prediction markets as a source of information beyond their traditional betting functions.
