Evenbeter and Headshot Launch Employment Research for iGaming Teams

Evenbeter, a prominent B2B developer known for its online gaming solutions, has teamed up with international recruitment agency Headshot to launch an independent industry research project titled "The State of iGaming Teams 2026–2027: Why People Stay. Why They Leave. What Leaders Can Do Next."

This study is particularly significant in the competitive environment of the iGaming industry, where retaining top talent is a growing challenge. Companies often face escalating costs associated with losing skilled professionals, while misunderstandings between employers and employees about expectations can exacerbate retention issues. Alarmingly, comprehensive data regarding employee retention across the industry is largely unavailable.

Daria Fot, Human Resources Director at Evenbeter, emphasized that the research aims to capture a holistic view of team dynamics within the iGaming sector and to offer actionable recommendations for improving retention strategies.

"This study will serve as a practical tool for CEOs and Founders, enabling them to make data-driven decisions and understand the true costs associated with losing key specialists. HR and Team Leaders will also find it valuable for benchmarking their practices and identifying growth opportunities," Fot stated.

The data collection phase is set to begin on September 3 and will continue until October 1, 2026. This phase will involve online and offline surveys as well as interviews. The final report is expected to be published in late November 2026, detailing several critical areas, including:

– An overview of the project framework, methodology, and respondent profiles,
– Insights into why professionals leave and the factors influencing retention,
– The criteria specialists use when selecting a new employer,
– Evaluations of management culture alongside actual employee experiences,
– An assessment of burnout and workload issues,
– A comparative analysis of what companies deem important versus employee perceptions,
– Emerging expectations from specialists for 2026–2027,
– Actionable conclusions and recommendations for employers.

Polina Kapitonova, CEO of Headshot, noted that general market trends often lack relevance for specific companies. "We will analyze the results by various factors such as professional experience, function, and location, revealing why employees stay or leave in those contexts," she explained.

All professionals in the iGaming sector, from specialists to team leads and CEOs, are encouraged to participate in the survey through a provided link. As an extra motivation, participants will be entered into a special prize draw offering valuable rewards.
