During the first quarter, DATA.BET reported significant growth in gross gaming revenue (GGR) and turnover for its esports offerings, as revealed in an interview conducted at iGB L!VE last month. This growth underscores the company's strong position in the rapidly evolving esports sector. “Esports is our heritage,” stated Otto Bonning, head of sales.
While esports remains a primary focus, DATA.BET is also expanding its portfolio. The company has introduced ‘V1’ of its prediction markets product, designed as a standalone betting vertical for operators to incorporate alongside their existing services.
Bonning noted, “If you don’t have prediction markets added into the sportsbook today I think you’re losing out a bit,” and shared insights on the specific markets the company will emphasize moving forward.
