Penn Entertainment Reports Q2 2026 Profit of $32.6 Million

Penn Entertainment achieved profitability in the second quarter of 2026, reporting a net income of $32.6 million, a notable improvement compared to the loss experienced during the same period last year. This positive performance indicates a continued recovery for the company, which had reduced its losses to $2.8 million in the first quarter before turning profitable in Q2.

Revenue for the latest quarter rose by 5% year-on-year, totaling $1.86 billion, while adjusted EBITDA surged by 32% to $312.6 million, a significant increase from $236.1 million in Q1 2025.

CEO Jay Snowden emphasized the company's commitment to executing strategies aimed at enhancing cash flow growth, reducing administrative expenses, improving profitability across its segments, and reinforcing the balance sheet.

Penn has reported EBITDA growth in all its operational segments across the Northeast, South, Midwest, and West regions of the U.S. Despite a slight revenue decrease in the South segment, overall business profitability showed improvement.

The Interactive segment remains challenged, although recent efforts have slashed losses significantly. Adjusted EBITDA losses in this segment amounted to $9.5 million, down from $62 million in Q1 2025. Following the conclusion of its ESPN Bet branding partnership in 2025, Penn has shifted its focus towards the Canadian market and the expanding U.S. iCasino sector.
