The Tech Race Summit 2026 is set to take place on September 10 in Warsaw, gathering experts focused on the technology powering contemporary digital businesses. Recently, Margaret Dunn, portfolio director at WorldGaming, had a conversation with Sergey Kastukevich, the chief technology officer at SOFTSWISS, during which they discussed the summit and the emergence of AI in the industry.
Dunn expressed during their discussion that the Tech Race Summit is addressing a significant gap in the market. Kastukevich noted that while there are many business-centric dialogues in iGaming, there lacks a dedicated environment for conversations centered around engineering and technology.
Tech Race Summit is designed to serve as a platform for knowledge exchange rather than a sales opportunity for SOFTSWISS. By taking on the role of host, SOFTSWISS aims to keep the spotlight on critical conversations around where senior technologists believe the industry should channel investments and focus in the coming six to twelve months.
Dunn highlighted that last year's ICE event also witnessed a similar demand for innovation-driven discussions, particularly with initiatives like the Innovator Challenge in collaboration with Microsoft, alongside keynotes from industry giants such as AWS and Huawei.
This year, ICE has introduced Hall 7, designed to strengthen the conversation around iGaming innovation. The Tech Race in Warsaw and Hall 7 at ICE in Barcelona in January are anticipated to be connected chapters in an evolving dialogue. These events are expected to bring together CTOs, CSOs, and data leaders, facilitating a continuation of discussions from one event to the next.
As for the ongoing discourse around AI, Kastukevich and Dunn shared their candid perspectives, addressing whether AI is simply a buzzword or holds genuine significance in the iGaming sector.
