OpenBet to Acquire OmniLogic for Enhanced Lottery Sportsbook Solutions

OpenBet has announced an agreement to acquire OmniLogic, a specialist in sportsbook technology, as part of its strategy to enhance offerings in regulated lottery markets.

The company aims to bolster its presence in these markets and improve its sportsbook services for Tier 1 operators through the acquisition. This deal is expected to conclude in 2026, pending regulatory approvals.

OpenBet considers lotteries a critical aspect of its growth, planning to utilize OmniLogic’s established technology, expertise, and existing partnerships to strengthen its global operations. Nikos Konstakis, OpenBet's president, referred to the acquisition as a “natural extension” of the company's strategy to cater to highly regulated markets. He noted that lotteries remain central to OpenBet’s growth strategy, attributing a strong reputation in this sector to OmniLogic's deep customer relationships and understanding of market needs.

Founded by Vicente Torrejón and Dávid Márk Gábor, OmniLogic has over a decade of experience providing sportsbook technology to lottery operators and members of the World Lottery Association (WLA). The leadership team sees the merger as an opportunity to benefit from OpenBet’s broader scale and product offerings.

OmniLogic’s platform offers omnichannel betting solutions across the EMEA region, integrating trading, risk management, and back-office functionalities. In their joint statement, Torrejón and Gábor explained, “Joining OpenBet gives us the opportunity to build on that foundation as part of one of the world’s leading sportsbook businesses. For our customers, it brings the additional scale, capabilities, and product portfolio of OpenBet, while maintaining the specialist knowledge and continuity they value today.”

Last year, OpenBet underwent a management buyout for $450 million, transferring control from Endeavor to CEO Jordan Levin and other senior executives. Levin commented on this new chapter, stating that OpenBet is now better equipped to drive market expansion and innovate products in the betting and gaming entertainment sectors.
