At the iGB L!VE 2026 event, Harrison Barrett, the Vice President of Business Development at Soft2Bet, discussed the transformation of the company’s MEGA platform. Initially launched as a gamification tool, Barrett emphasized that MEGA has evolved into a more comprehensive solution, becoming “much more compelling than simply leaderboards, missions, and point-based rewards.”
Describing MEGA’s purpose, Barrett noted it serves as “ultimately a retention tool that helps our partners move away from heavy bonus and costs.” This shift is underlined by successful initiatives, including ice hockey and UFC-themed activities that are boosting player engagement across North America. Notably, the introduction of MEGA Shoot, a player-versus-player penalty shootout simulation tied to the World Cup, has resulted in a significant 45% increase in lifetime value.
Barrett also highlighted that MEGA fosters player connection within Soft2Bet's software ecosystem and its associated brands, enhancing user experience throughout their platforms.
