DigiPlus Reports $140M Profit Despite Revenue Drop

DigiPlus Interactive Corp. has announced a net income of PHP8.9 billion ($140 million) for the first nine months of 2026. Despite this profit, the company experienced a 17% decline in net gaming revenue, which fell to PHP16.2 billion ($255 million) year-on-year.

The operator of BingoPlus, ArenaPlus, and GameZone noted that enhanced cost efficiency contributed significantly to the bottom line, helping to offset the revenue dip. The company reported an EBITDA of PHP8.3 billion ($130.7 million) over the nine-month period. In the third quarter alone, EBITDA saw a slight increase of 0.3% from the prior quarter, reaching PHP2.9 billion ($45.7 million). The EBITDA margin improved by four percentage points to 22%, attributed to better management of advertising and promotional expenses, reduced direct gaming costs, and stricter control over operating expenditures.

Moreover, the net gaming revenue after-tax margin, which measures against gross gaming revenue (GGR), increased by five percentage points to 40% quarter-on-quarter. DigiPlus also experienced growth in its user base and player retention, with average monthly active users rising by 3% to 5.9 million. The number of monthly active bettors and depositors increased by 5%, totaling 4.9 million.

In October, DigiPlus decided to withdraw from the final stages of New Zealand's online casino licensing auction, following a comprehensive market analysis. The company clarified that this choice would not impact its current operations or its strategy for international expansion. In Brazil, DigiPlus previously indicated that the government’s ban on online gambling would not significantly affect its financial stability. The company’s immediate focus remains on complying with this directive and facilitating customer withdrawals.
