Sportradar Reports 24% Revenue Increase in Q3 2026

Sportradar has reported a significant 24% rise in revenue for the third quarter of 2026, reaching €362.5 million. The impressive growth was fueled by a strong performance in its Betting Technology & Solutions division, which saw its revenue climb by 27% to €296.7 million. The company also recorded a 21% increase in adjusted EBITDA, now totaling €102 million, and a remarkable 43% growth in net profit.

CEO Carsten Koerl commented on the company's performance, stating, "We delivered another strong quarter of double-digit growth, once again demonstrating the value of our role as a key technology and content partner to the global sports ecosystem. Our performance was driven by strong demand for our premium content portfolio, deep data, and innovative technology solutions, including further monetisation of acquired IMG ARENA rights and significant contributions from across the prediction markets landscape."

In the betting and gaming content segment, revenue rose to €242 million, reflecting a substantial 37% year-on-year increase. The successful integration of IMG ARENA, acquired in November 2025, has contributed significantly to this growth. Sportradar has also noted a heightened demand for its services from various clients, particularly prediction market operators.

However, the Managed Betting Services sector experienced a decline, with revenue decreasing by 3% to €54.7 million. The increased number of bets placed did not fully counterbalance the losses in trading margins attributed to high sports losses. On a brighter note, the Sports Content, Technology, and Services division increased its revenue to €65.8 million, an 11% rise, while marketing and media services grew by 15% to €50.7 million, benefiting from new clients and increased affiliate marketing spending.

Integrity services reported revenue of €4.8 million, up 16%, whereas sports performance revenue fell by 8% to €10.3 million. Sportradar faced higher costs during the quarter, driven by a 54% rise in sports media rights costs, yet profit continued to rise. Pre-tax profit climbed 14% to €33.1 million, with post-tax profit reaching €6.1 million, resulting in a total profit of €27 million for the period, a 20% increase year-on-year. After accounting for currency translation, the net profit amounted to €28.2 million, marking a 43% increase.

For the first nine months of the year, Sportradar's revenue grew by 18% to €1.09 billion, while adjusted EBITDA rose 20% to €244.5 million. Despite increased expenses and a stronger financial income contribution in the previous year, the company's pre-tax profit plunged by 80% to €24.4 million. The reported profit for the period decreased by 82% to €17.2 million, with the nine-month net profit adjusted for currency translations reaching €19.2 million, which is €57.2 million less than the previous year.

Koerl further expressed, "Fans are engaging with sports across more platforms than ever before, expanding our addressable market and increasing demand for our products and solutions. As we capitalise on these new opportunities, further leveraging our existing portfolio, we remain focused on innovation and execution to drive additional value for our partners and clients and deliver durable growth and expanding profitability for our shareholders."

Sportradar maintains its guidance for the remainder of the year, projecting constant-currency revenue growth between 19% and 21%. Based on current foreign exchange rates, annual revenue is expected to fall between €1.52 billion and €1.53 billion. Projected adjusted EBITDA growth is anticipated to be between 24% and 27% on a constant-currency basis, with expectations set in the range of €360 million to €368 million.
