OpenBet, a leading provider of betting and gaming technology, has announced its intention to acquire OmniLogic, a provider of sportsbook technology, marking a significant step in its strategic aim to enhance its services for lotteries worldwide. The deal, which requires regulatory approvals, is anticipated to close by late 2026.
With this acquisition, OpenBet plans to amplify its presence in regulated lottery markets, bringing established operator partnerships and specialized sportsbook expertise into its portfolio. Once finalized, this acquisition will solidify OpenBet’s role as the foremost provider of sports betting and platform solutions for members of the World Lottery Association (WLA).
OmniLogic has extensive experience, having supplied sportsbook technology services to major regulated lottery operators and WLA affiliates for over ten years. Its platform supports omnichannel betting across retail, online, and mobile segments for key lottery and betting operators throughout the EMEA region, offering capabilities that include trading, risk management, and back-office functions.
The OmniLogic team, primarily based in Győr, Hungary, will become part of OpenBet, contributing significant technical knowledge and a wealth of experience in developing and maintaining sportsbook technology across various channels.
This acquisition is expected to enhance OpenBet’s size, technological prowess, and operational capabilities, ensuring its position as a trusted partner for Tier 1 operators operating in intricate and highly regulated betting environments.
