The Dutch Gambling Authority (KSA) has renewed five-year licenses for eight online gambling operators, allowing them to continue providing services in the Netherlands until 2031. Since the regulated online gambling market was established in the Netherlands in 2021, the KSA has granted a total of eight follow-up licenses to these operators.
The new licenses will be effective from October 2026 and valid through September 2031, coinciding with the expiration of the currently held licenses at the end of September 2026. The licensed operators include:

– Holland Casino N.V. – Holland Casino Online
– Play North Limited – Kansino
– FPO Nederland B.V. – FairPlay Casino
– Bingoal Nederland B.V. – Bingoal
– Hillside (New Media Malta) Plc – bet365
– NSUS Malta Limited – GGPoker
– Betent B.V. – BetCity
The renewal process involved stricter checks compared to the initial licensing procedures from 2021. The KSA scrutinized any violations that occurred within the last five years and required applicants to address how they managed these infractions and the measures they intend to implement to avert future breaches. All eight applicants successfully met the licensing requirements, although some faced additional compliance obligations.
These renewed licenses position the operators to remain active in the online gambling landscape in the Netherlands for the next five years, underscoring the significance of both local and international entities within the market until 2031.
