On Tuesday, OpenBet announced an agreement to acquire OmniLogic, a company specializing in sportsbook technology. This acquisition is intended to bolster OpenBet’s position in regulated lottery markets and enhance its sportsbook offerings, particularly for Tier 1 operators.
The deal is expected to finalize later in 2026, pending regulatory approvals.
With OmniLogic on board, OpenBet aims to leverage its established technology, specialized expertise, and strong customer partnerships to reinforce its global operations. The company regards OmniLogic as "the partner of choice for lotteries worldwide.”
Nikos Konstakis, the president of OpenBet, characterized the acquisition as “a natural extension” of the company's strategy to serve operators in highly regulated and demanding markets. He pointed out that lotteries are a crucial area for future growth, stating, "They remain the core focus of our growth strategy, and OmniLogic has built a strong reputation in this sector through long‑standing customer partnerships and a deep understanding of their requirements.”
Founded by Vicente Torrejón and Dávid Márk Gábor, OmniLogic has spent over a decade providing sportsbook technology tailored to regulated lottery operators, especially those associated with the World Lottery Association (WLA). The leadership team emphasized that joining OpenBet will allow them to broaden their capabilities and scale, enhancing the services offered to their customers without losing the specialized knowledge that has been their hallmark.
OmniLogic’s platform facilitates omnichannel betting across the EMEA region, integrating trading, risk management, and back-office functionalities. Torrejón and Gábor stated, "Our focus has always been on providing our customers with reliable technology, deep expertise, and long-term partnership. Joining OpenBet gives us the opportunity to build on that foundation as part of one of the world’s leading sportsbook businesses. For our customers, it brings the additional scale, capabilities, and product portfolio of OpenBet, while maintaining the specialist knowledge and continuity they value today.”
OpenBet's recent history includes a management buyout worth $450 million, which allowed CEO Jordan Levin and senior executives to take control of the platform business from Endeavor. Levin remarked, "As this new chapter begins, OpenBet is better positioned than ever to drive market expansion and product innovation while defining the future of betting and gaming entertainment."
