OpenBet announced on Tuesday its agreement to acquire OmniLogic, a specialist in sportsbook technology. This move is designed to bolster OpenBet's presence in regulated lottery markets, enhancing its sportsbook capabilities particularly for Tier 1 operators.
The acquisition, pending regulatory approval, is anticipated to be completed later in 2026. By integrating OmniLogic, OpenBet expects to incorporate proven technology, specialized expertise, and established customer partnerships that will reinforce its global operations. OpenBet has labeled OmniLogic as "the partner of choice for lotteries worldwide."
Nikos Konstakis, president of OpenBet, characterized this acquisition as a "natural extension" of their strategy to cater to operators in highly regulated markets. He emphasized that lotteries represent a vital aspect of OpenBet's growth strategy, affirming that OmniLogic has built a strong reputation through enduring customer partnerships and a comprehensive understanding of market demands.
Founded by Vicente Torrejón and Dávid Márk Gábor, OmniLogic has developed a solid reputation over its more than ten-year history by providing sportsbook technology to regulated lottery operators and members of the World Lottery Association (WLA). The leadership team views access to OpenBet’s larger scale, enhanced capabilities, and extensive product portfolio as major benefits from this acquisition.
OmniLogic’s platform offers support for omnichannel betting throughout the EMEA region, featuring integrated trading, risk management, and back-office functionalities. "Our focus has always been on providing our customers with reliable technology, deep expertise, and long-term partnerships," Torrejón and Gábor stated. "Joining OpenBet provides us the chance to expand on that foundation as part of a leading sportsbook business, benefiting our customers with greater scale and capabilities while ensuring the specialist knowledge and continuity they value."
In 2022, OpenBet underwent a management buyout in a $450 million transaction that transferred control from Endeavor to CEO Jordan Levin and the executive team. Levin remarked, “As this new chapter begins, OpenBet is better positioned than ever to drive market expansion and product innovation while defining the future of betting and gaming entertainment.”
