OpenBet Acquires OmniLogic to Boost Lottery Sportsbook Offerings

OpenBet announced on Tuesday its acquisition of OmniLogic, a specialist in sportsbook technology. This strategic move aims to bolster OpenBet's presence in regulated lottery markets and enhance its sportsbook services for Tier 1 operators.

The acquisition is currently pending regulatory approvals and is anticipated to close in late 2026.

OmniLogic, described by OpenBet as a leading partner for lotteries on a global scale, will provide the supplier with advanced technology, specialized expertise, and established customer connections that complement its existing offerings and reinforce its international operations.

Nikos Konstakis, president of OpenBet, characterized the acquisition as a logical progression of the company's strategy to cater to operators in highly regulated markets. He emphasized the importance of lotteries in OpenBet's growth plans, stating, "They remain the core focus of our growth strategy, and OmniLogic has built a strong reputation in this sector through long-standing customer partnerships and a deep understanding of their requirements."

Founded by Vicente Torrejón and Dávid Márk Gábor, OmniLogic has earned a solid reputation over its more than ten years in the industry by providing sportsbook technology to regulated lottery operators and members of the World Lottery Association (WLA). The leadership team of OmniLogic views the partnership with OpenBet as a significant advantage, granting access to a diverse scale and a comprehensive product suite.

OmniLogic's platform facilitates omnichannel betting across the EMEA region, incorporating integrated trading, risk management, and back-office functionalities. Torrejón and Gábor noted, "Our focus has always been on providing our customers with reliable technology, deep expertise, and long-term partnership. Joining OpenBet gives us the opportunity to build on that foundation as part of one of the world’s leading sportsbook businesses. For our customers, it brings the additional scale, capabilities, and product portfolio of OpenBet, while maintaining the specialist knowledge and continuity they value today."

Last year, OpenBet underwent a management buyout valued at $450 million, where CEO Jordan Levin and other senior executives acquired the platform business from Endeavor. Levin remarked at the time, "As this new chapter begins, OpenBet is better positioned than ever to drive market expansion and product innovation while defining the future of betting and gaming entertainment."
