Cubeia, the iGaming software solutions provider based in Sweden, has announced the launch of an extensive upgrade to its poker client, now constructed on the PixiJS engine, a WebGL-based technology renowned for powering intricate real-time graphics on the web. This upgrade provides Cubeia Poker with an enhanced technical framework for delivering superior graphics, animations, and consistent performance across various devices. It represents the most significant update to the poker client since it began production in 2009.
The complete overhaul includes a redesigned user interface featuring new card designs, player badges, and progress bars, along with revamped animations for dealing and winning, creating an experience akin to a brand-new poker platform that competes with today’s leading poker clients. Additionally, the upgrade introduces a feature allowing players to see the number of outs available during all-in scenarios, enhancing the engagement and understanding of key moments in the game.
Behind the scenes, Cubeia has also improved the client’s timeline management, the system responsible for coordinating gameplay actions and animations. This restructuring ensures that actions resolve in a more predictable sequence, resulting in a smoother and more coherent experience for players throughout each hand.
The notable features included in this release are:
– A new PixiJS-based client engine
– A completely rebuilt interface showcasing modernized cards, player badges, and progress bars
– Enhanced animations for dealing and winning
– Visibility of player outs during all-in situations
– Improved timeline management for a smoother action flow
– A 20% reduction in table load times
Simon Isbäck, the Product Owner for Poker at Cubeia, emphasized the importance of this upgrade, stating, "This is much more than a visual refresh. We have rebuilt the foundations of the poker client, and that shows up in how the game feels to play — faster, smoother and easier to follow. It also gives us a base we can keep building on."
Operators will benefit from customizable visual elements, as every aspect of the client can be adapted using standard CSS, enabling the poker room to seamlessly fit with existing sites. The client operates on an HTML5 framework, ensuring compatibility across all devices and browsers without the need for any app installation.
In addition to these features, operators can connect to Cubeia’s hybrid poker network at no cost, which guarantees immediate liquidity. Cubeia is also launching a promotional campaign worth $25,000 per month to support operators from the outset.
The new Cubeia Poker client will be accessible to operators starting September 10.
