The Ukrainian iGaming regulator, PlayCity, has imposed a fine of approximately UAH4.75 million on Slots U.A. LLC, the operator behind the BetKing and 777.ua brands, for failing to comply with established regulatory standards. According to a statement released via its official Telegram channel, the breach involved unauthorized third-party transfers of funds to player accounts, which constituted a major part of the penalty.
Of the total fine, UAH4.32 million was levied specifically for violations related to payment processing rules. In addition, Slots U.A. was fined UAH432,350 for not adhering to a prior directive issued by PlayCity. This marks the second time in recent months that the operator has faced penalties; previously in May, PlayCity had issued a fine of $10,000 due to the late submission of requested information to the regulator.
The enforcement action against Slots U.A. comes as PlayCity intensifies its regulatory efforts. Just days prior to this case, it was announced that UAF Marketing LLC incurred a fine of nearly UAH5.2 million for infractions pertaining to gambling advertising rules, after promoting an online casino during the Ukrainian Cup football season of 2026/27.
