Cubeia Unveils Roulette as First Classic Table Game in Originals Lineup

Cubeia, the iGaming software solutions provider based in Sweden, has launched Roulette, marking the introduction of its first classic table game in the Originals catalogue, which previously emphasized instant-win formats.

In line with all Originals games, Roulette incorporates the operator's branding instead of that of a supplier and is designed as a native web component rather than an iframe. It operates on European single-zero rules, offering a full range of inside and outside betting options. Players can place wagers and observe the wheel spin for results in real-time, all within the operator’s interface. Operators have the flexibility to configure themes, currencies, return-to-player rates, and missions, integrating the game onto their site with just a single tag.

A key differentiator of Originals is its technical delivery. Games are distributed as web components, which ensures they load up to five times faster and seamlessly adopt the operator’s brand without any conflicting visuals. The Roulette Wheel itself loads in under 500 milliseconds. Cubeia provides both a React and Next.js package along with standard web components, allowing the game to be compatible with any front-end setup.

Caroline Björkman, Cubeia's Head of Sales, emphasized the importance of brand loyalty for operators, stating that using a common third-party game grid tends to build player loyalty towards the content provider rather than the casino's brand. She asserted, "Roulette is the game every casino is expected to have, so it is exactly the game that should carry your name, not ours. Adding a classic table game to Originals means operators no longer have to choose between exclusive content and the titles players already look for."

Tobias Fogelberg, Cubeia's Chief Commercial Officer, commented on the challenges of accurately recreating the feel of Roulette for web environments, highlighting that achieving the correct spin and bet layout required meticulous engineering. "Getting the spin, the bet layout and the resolution to feel right in the browser, with no iframe between the game and the site, took real engineering, " he noted. "The result loads in under half a second and behaves like part of the operator’s product, because technically it is."

Roulette is currently available to all Cubeia Originals operators and joins a live roster that includes Mines, Plinko, Dice, Limbo, Wheel, Keno, Coinflip, HiLo, Crash, Turbocrash, and Tower, with Chicken Cross in beta and Multiplayer Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat, and Snakes under development.

A demo of the game can be accessed at originals.cubeia.com/games/roulette, while operators seeking integration information can visit cubeia.com/lets-do-business.
