Penn Entertainment's Q2 2026 Profits Reach $32.6 Million

In the second quarter of 2026, Penn Entertainment reported a net income of $32.6 million, a significant turnaround from the loss experienced during the same quarter last year. This result marks a continued recovery for the company, which narrowed its losses to $2.8 million in the first quarter before turning profitable in Q2.

Revenue for the last quarter climbed by 5% year-over-year, reaching $1.86 billion. Additionally, adjusted EBITDA increased by 32%, totaling $312.6 million compared to $236.1 million in the first quarter of 2025.

CEO Jay Snowden emphasized that Penn remains committed to strategies aimed at enhancing cash flow, reducing administrative costs, boosting profitability across segments, and strengthening the balance sheet.

The company achieved EBITDA growth across all operational segments in the Northeast, South, Midwest, and West regions of the United States. Although revenues in the South segment saw a slight decline, overall profitability improved.

Despite still facing challenges, the Interactive segment has made significant progress, reducing adjusted EBITDA losses to $9.5 million from $62 million in the first quarter of 2025. Following the end of its ESPN Bet branding partnership in 2025, Penn has been reshaping its online strategy, with renewed focus on the Canadian market and the expanding U.S. iCasino sector.
