Super Group Reports Record Q2 Performance Fueled by FIFA World Cup

Super Group has reported its most successful quarter to date, buoyed by the FIFA World Cup that spurred increased betting activity. The parent company of Betway and Spin unveiled revenues of $684 million for Q2 2026, marking an 18% increase from $579 million a year earlier. Notably, the company recorded net profits of $123 million, a turnaround from a net loss of $3 million during the same quarter last year.

Adjusted EBITDA rose by 30% to $204 million, achieving a record EBITDA margin of 30%. The monthly active customer count climbed 13% year-over-year to 6.2 million, with both deposits and betting activity hitting all-time highs.

Further enhancing brand visibility, Betway announced a new sponsorship deal with Manchester United, which will see its branding feature on the team's training kit.

Chief Executive Neal Menashe emphasized the quarter's strong performance, stating, "The second quarter generated record performance across Super Group, marking all-time highs in revenue, adjusted EBITDA, deposits and wagering. While we maximised the commercial boost from the FIFA World Cup, these results once again demonstrate the core strength of our casino-led, diversified business model, disciplined execution, and highly durable customer base."

The company raised its adjusted EBITDA guidance, now projecting it to exceed $710 million, up from an earlier estimate of $680 million. As of the end of June, Super Group had $548 million in cash and no debts. Additionally, it distributed $25 million in dividends to shareholders during the quarter, bringing the total capital returned over the past twelve months to $218 million.

Africa remained the strongest performing region for Super Group, with revenue soaring 36% to $310 million. Meanwhile, revenues from international markets, including Europe and the Americas, saw a growth of 7%, totaling $368 million.
