iGB Live! 2022 Sets New Attendance Record

iGB Live! 2022 has achieved a new attendance record, drawing in 5,025 participants. This figure marks a 7% increase over the previous record of 4,694 set in 2019 and a substantial 31% rise compared to 2021, when the event was the first significant in-person gaming gathering following the Covid-19 pandemic. Naomi Barton, the portfolio director, emphasized that success goes beyond the numbers, noting that the true measure will come from post-show research with visitors and exhibitors, as well as net promoter scores reflecting attendees' willingness to recommend the event. Barton highlighted that the marketing and communication strategies successfully attracted a new audience, with 32% of participants attending iGB Live! for the first time. Additionally, 12% of attendees were from startup businesses, while 8% were new to gaming, and 26% operated in the US. She explained that the event's strategy focused on creating a show floor that encompasses the entire gaming ecosystem, with networking opportunities and lead generation, combined with a comprehensive learning program and notable features. "These are exciting times for the iGB Live! brand, which continues to grow in size and reputation," she stated. iGB Live! 2022 included 190 sponsors and exhibitors across 4,500 square meters, special areas for online slots and esports, a 46-speaker conference program, and two detailed masterclasses.
