In a significant move for tribal gaming, Amelco, a provider of sportsbook and iGaming platforms, has announced a partnership with Boing Gaming, a supplier of Class II mobile games. The collaboration is aimed at delivering mobile gaming content to tribal operators across the United States, including prominent partners such as the Seminole Tribe of Florida and the Quapaw Nation in Arkansas.
Both companies revealed their partnership on Monday, highlighting that it will provide a comprehensive player account management (PAM) solution along with a selection of Boing's real-money mobile games specifically tailored for Amelco’s tribal gaming operators.
Amelco operates a modular platform that integrates seamlessly with the Class II gaming framework, allowing tribal operators to independently offer products like electronic bingo and non-banked card games under the jurisdiction of the National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC). This contrasts with Class III gaming activities like casino gambling and sports betting, which require tribal-state compacts as mandated by the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act (IGRA).
Boing Gaming, having been established in 2024, positions itself as a turnkey Class II mobile gaming platform designed to assist tribal operators in broadening their gaming options beyond traditional casino offerings.
The partnership is designed to provide tribal operators with a scalable integration for Class II mobile gaming experiences, whether at gaming venues or on tribal land. Amelco's Head of Business Development, Brandon Walker, remarked on Boing Gaming's strong Class II portfolio and deep understanding of the tribal sector, stating, "Expanding our Class II capabilities ensures we continue giving our partners the specialist, sovereign-compliant tools they need. As we head into G2E, integrating Boing’s games is another major step in delivering a truly tailored offering for North American tribal enterprises."
Boing Gaming's CEO, Lance Gerlach, highlighted the potential for tribal gaming operators to tap into the digital gaming market. He stated, "There is tremendous momentum behind Class II mobile gaming right now, and delivering our games via Amelco’s platform provides the perfect technical foundation to scale together. We look forward to introducing our content to more tribal operators and expanding our footprint alongside one of the industry’s best technology suppliers."
Amelco has developed a strong portfolio that includes an in-house sportsbook, multi-state wallet capabilities, custom applications, and a vast range of over 100,000 online casino games. The company already operates in 17 states and tribal jurisdictions, recently expanding its reach into Alberta, Canada.
Amelco nourishes established relationships with various tribal nations, notably the Quapaw Nation and the Seminole Tribe, and collaborates with major commercial entities such as BetMGM parent Entain, Fanatics Betting and Gaming, FanDuel owner Flutter Entertainment, and Hard Rock Bet.
In a conversation earlier this year, Walker expressed that some of the most compelling product discussions in the gaming industry are occurring within tribal gaming. He noted that while many tribal casinos remain highly profitable and may not be in a hurry to transition online, there is growing recognition among younger generations within tribal communities about the need to adapt to avoid losing market share and profits. Walker pointed out that players' expectations are shifting toward a more engaging digital experience, comparable to the seamless interactions of major platforms like Netflix and Instagram, and Amelco aims to provide that through its advanced apps and personalized gaming experiences.
