Polymarket Enhances User Protection with New Responsible Trading Tools

Polymarket has introduced new features designed to enhance user protection and promote responsible trading on its platform. These features comprise voluntary self-exclusion and deposit limits aimed at assisting users struggling with compulsive trading behaviors.

To oversee these initiatives, Polymarket is establishing a Trust and Safety team that will operate across its global platforms, including the US. This team will also be responsible for formulating new community guidelines and standards for content regulation.

In collaboration with Birches Health, the leading provider of treatment for behavioral and process addictions, Polymarket aims to facilitate better access to psychological services for users dealing with compulsive trading issues.

Malea Otranto, the global head of trust and safety at Polymarket, shared her insights on the initiative: "People should be able to set their own limits, step away on their own terms, and know what the rules are. That is what launched today, and it is the floor, not the ceiling. We’re excited to continue to build out from here."

In addition, Polymarket is creating a variety of educational materials focused on teaching users responsible trading practices.
