Vyking, a data-driven iGaming platform provider and games aggregator, has successfully developed its own sportsbook utilizing SportOS, the backend operating system designed for sportsbooks by FIRST.bet, a prominent Tier-1 sportsbook technology provider. The entire player experience of this new product was created by Vyking's product team, while FIRST.bet supplies the engine that powers the sportsbook.
Vyking maintains full control over the player interface, making decisions that influence design and user flow, including how betting markets are displayed and the functionality of the bet slip. Their focus on enhancing the mobile product, where the majority of betting occurs, was informed by insights into players' actual betting behavior rather than adhering to a common development roadmap.
SportOS is specifically designed for operators who aim to distinguish themselves through unique product offerings. Although using a supplier frontend can be practical for many, companies whose strategies rely on tailoring their market approaches benefit from the flexibility to build and implement their own systems. Vyking embraced this challenge, managing all aspects of product design, frontend development, and testing.
FIRST.bet offers the necessary sportsbook infrastructure, encompassing pricing, trading, risk management, bet acceptance, and settlement processes. While new backend capabilities continue to be developed jointly, owning the frontend does not alter this arrangement.

The sportsbook solutions from FIRST.bet are now available across Vyking’s operator network, either through an iFrame or directly via SportOS.
