The upcoming Tech Race Summit 2026 is generating buzz within the tech community, especially with a focused media partnership between SOFTSWISS and World Gaming announced in July. As the event approaches, Margaret Dunn, portfolio director at WorldGaming, recently spoke with Sergey Kastukevich, the chief technology officer at SOFTSWISS, to discuss the event and the evolving role of AI in the industry.
Set for September 10 in Warsaw, Tech Race Summit 2026 aims to bring together experts in the technology that drives digital businesses today. Kastukevich believes the event is crucial as it addresses a notable gap in the field. He remarked that while there are many discussions centered around business aspects in iGaming, there has been a lack of dedicated forums focused on engineering and technological innovation.
Unlike a conventional sales platform for SOFTSWISS, the summit will serve as a knowledge-sharing venue. Kastukevich emphasized that the focus for senior technologists will be on strategic investments and priorities for the industry over the coming six to twelve months.
Dunn underscored that last year’s ICE event reflected this need with the Innovator Challenge, featuring industry giants like Microsoft, AWS, and Huawei. To continue this trend, the introduction of Hall 7 at this year's ICE marks a new phase for iGaming innovation, providing a stronger foundation for discussions.
The upcoming Tech Race Summit in Warsaw will complement Hall 7 at ICE in Barcelona in January, fostering a continuous dialogue between CTOs, CSOs, and data leaders. This strategic approach aims to bring the right people together in meaningful ways, eliminating the need for scattered global outreach.
As the conversation about AI heats up, Dunn and Kastukevich encourage attendees to consider whether AI is merely a buzzword or if it holds substantial potential in the iGaming sector.
