OpenBet, a leading provider of betting and gaming technology, content, and services, has introduced its next-generation sportsbook in partnership with Loterie Romande. This operator serves as the exclusive regulated sports betting provider for the six French-speaking cantons in Switzerland and is affiliated with the World Lottery Association (WLA).
The launch marks Loterie Romande's move to the OpenBet platform with its JouezSport omnichannel sportsbook. This integration covers both online offerings and physical retail locations, with around 2,350 points of sale. The collaboration reinforces OpenBet's position as a key partner for members of the WLA, having delivered compliant technology and services to over 20 lotteries worldwide.
With a priority on enhancing the omnichannel experience, Loterie Romande has also introduced a new Cash Out feature, available at launch across its digital channels. OpenBet’s Managed Trading Services supply Loterie Romande with AI-augmented odds and risk management tools. Additionally, the OpenBet Trading System offers a multi-vendor orchestration hub, providing access to top-tier data, trading services, and scalable content through a single integration point.
This year has been particularly notable for OpenBet, with the company processing more than 175 million bets and over $3 billion in stakes across its global clientele during the FIFA World Cup 2026. This event marked the largest volume of betting OpenBet has handled to date, all without a single outage from the opening match through to the final.
Nikos Konstakis, President of OpenBet, expressed pride in collaborating with Loterie Romande, highlighting the enhanced player experience and commitment to responsible gaming and regulatory compliance.
Jean-Luc Moner-Banet, CEO of Loterie Romande, noted that OpenBet's technology and customer-focused approach made it the ideal partner to meet their specific needs and evolve the player experience. He looks forward to the future development of this partnership with the OpenBet team.
OpenBet is recognized as a Gold Contributor to the WLA, adhering to the association’s strict standards for social responsibility, responsible gaming, security, and risk management.
