OpenBet Acquires OmniLogic to Strengthen Lottery Sportsbook Offerings

OpenBet has announced an agreement to acquire OmniLogic, a specialist in sportsbook technology, as part of its strategy to enhance its offerings in regulated lottery markets. This acquisition is expected to help OpenBet bolster its capabilities tailored for Tier 1 operators in the industry.

The deal will proceed subject to regulatory approvals and is anticipated to be finalized in late 2026. OpenBet is emphasizing the significance of lotteries as a crucial aspect of its growth strategy.

In a statement, OpenBet highlighted that the integration of OmniLogic will add proven technology, specialized expertise, and established customer partnerships that align with its existing capabilities.

Nikos Konstakis, OpenBet’s president, referred to the acquisition as a "natural extension" of the company's strategy, particularly in addressing the needs of operators within heavily regulated markets. He underscored that lotteries remain central to their growth trajectory, noting OmniLogic’s strong reputation bolstered by long-standing partnerships and an in-depth understanding of customer requirements.

OmniLogic, founded by Vicente Torrejón and Dávid Márk Gábor, has built a solid reputation over its decade-long history by providing sportsbook technology to regulated lottery operators and members of the World Lottery Association. The leadership team at OmniLogic expressed enthusiasm over the acquisition, mentioning that it opens doors to OpenBet’s broader scale, capabilities, and diverse product portfolio, which will be beneficial for their clients.

Their platform already facilitates omnichannel betting across the EMEA region, integrated with trading, risk management, and back-office functionalities. Torrejón and Gábor emphasized their commitment to offering reliable technology and lasting partnerships, stating that joining OpenBet enhances their potential while ensuring that clients continue to benefit from the specialized knowledge they offer.

In an industry context, OpenBet recently concluded a significant management buyout for $450 million, allowing CEO Jordan Levin and other executives to take control from Endeavor. He remarked that with this transition, OpenBet is now better positioned to expand its market reach and innovate its product offerings in the realm of betting and gaming entertainment.
