OpenBet has announced its acquisition of OmniLogic, a specialist in sportsbook technology, as of Tuesday. This move is aimed at enhancing OpenBet's capabilities in regulated lottery markets and bolstering their offerings to Tier 1 operators.
The deal, which is still pending regulatory approvals, is anticipated to be finalized in 2026.
Emphasizing the importance of lotteries, OpenBet expressed that the acquisition of OmniLogic is set to enrich their existing technology and expertise while reinforcing their global business connections. OmniLogic is recognized as "the partner of choice for lotteries worldwide," according to OpenBet.
Nikos Konstakis, president of OpenBet, referred to the acquisition as a natural progression aligned with the company's strategy to serve operators in highly regulated environments. He stated that lotteries remain a critical area for growth, noting that OmniLogic has established a robust reputation due to its enduring partnerships and comprehensive understanding of customer needs in this sector.
OmniLogic was founded by Vicente TorrejĂ³n and DĂ¡vid MĂ¡rk GĂ¡bor over a decade ago, building its credibility by providing sportsbook technology to lottery operators and members of the World Lottery Association (WLA). The leadership emphasized the advantages of joining OpenBet, particularly for access to a larger scale, an enhanced portfolio, and broader capabilities.
Their platform allows for omnichannel betting across the EMEA region, integrating trading, risk management, and back-office functions.
"Our focus has always been on providing our customers with reliable technology, deep expertise, and long-term partnerships," said TorrejĂ³n and GĂ¡bor. “Joining OpenBet offers us the chance to enhance that foundation as part of one of the leading sportsbook businesses globally, while ensuring our clients benefit from OpenBet's extensive scale, capabilities, and product offerings, all without losing the specialized knowledge they currently rely on."
Last year, OpenBet itself underwent a management buyout for $450 million, which saw CEO Jordan Levin and senior executives acquire the platform from Endeavor. Levin remarked that with this new chapter, OpenBet is optimally positioned to pursue market expansion and product innovation, all while shaping the future of betting and gaming entertainment.
