On Tuesday, OpenBet announced it has reached an agreement to acquire sportsbook specialist OmniLogic. This move is designed to enhance OpenBet's presence in regulated lottery markets while bolstering its sportsbook capabilities for Tier 1 operators.
The acquisition is pending regulatory approvals and is expected to close sometime in 2026. OpenBet aims to leverage OmniLogic's proven technology, specialist expertise, and established customer relationships, which are anticipated to complement OpenBet's existing offerings and enhance its global operations.
According to OpenBet, OmniLogic is regarded as "the partner of choice for lotteries worldwide." Nikos Konstakis, the president of OpenBet, called this deal a "natural extension" of the company’s strategy to cater to operators in highly regulated environments. He emphasized that lotteries remain a crucial part of OpenBet's growth strategy, noting that “OmniLogic has built a strong reputation in this sector through long-standing customer partnerships and a deep understanding of their requirements.”
OmniLogic, founded by Vicente Torrejón and Dávid Márk Gábor, has developed a solid reputation over more than ten years by providing sportsbook technology to regulated lottery operators and members of the World Lottery Association (WLA). Torrejón and Gábor have pointed to access to OpenBet’s broader scale and product range as a key advantage of the merger.
The OmniLogic platform supports omnichannel betting throughout the EMEA region, including integrated trading, risk management, and back-office functions. The founders stated, "Our focus has always been on providing our customers with reliable technology, deep expertise, and long-term partnerships. Joining OpenBet gives us the opportunity to build on that foundation as part of one of the world’s leading sportsbook businesses. For our customers, it brings the additional scale, capabilities, and product portfolio of OpenBet, while maintaining the specialist knowledge and continuity they value today."
Last year, OpenBet completed a $450 million management buyout, with CEO Jordan Levin and other senior executives taking control of the platform business from Endeavor. Levin remarked that as this new chapter starts, OpenBet is now better positioned than ever to drive market expansion and product innovation while shaping the future of betting and gaming entertainment.
