The Tech Race Summit 2026 is quickly approaching, and SOFTSWISS's Chief Technology Officer, Sergey Kastukevich, recently shared insights about the event and the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) in iGaming during an interview with Margaret Dunn, the portfolio director at WorldGaming.
Scheduled for September 10 in Warsaw, the Tech Race Summit aims to gather industry experts focused on the technological backbone of digital businesses. Kastukevich believes the summit is addressing a real need in the sector. While discussions about business strategies in iGaming are common, there’s a lack of dedicated forums for engineers and technologists to engage in meaningful dialogue.
The summit is intentionally structured as a knowledge-sharing platform rather than a venue for SOFTSWISS to market its products. This distinction highlights that the emphasis will be on guiding industry investment in technology over the upcoming six to twelve months, positioning SOFTSWISS as a facilitator of discussions rather than a lead presenter.
Dunn noted that there was a growing interest in similar topics at ICE, including the Innovator Challenge which featured key partnerships with companies like Microsoft, AWS, and Huawei. In response to this need, the introduction of Hall 7 at ICE next January is designed to support iGaming innovations.
The two events—Tech Race in Warsaw and Hall 7 at ICE—are meant to be interconnected, providing a continuous platform for chief technology officers, chief security officers, and data leaders to build on their discussions from one gathering to the next.
The overarching goal of both events is clear: collating the right mix of industry leaders in one room is more effective than attempting to connect with them individually as they travel worldwide.
Regarding the current buzz around AI, Dunn and Kastukevich are open to sharing their sincere perspectives on its role in the iGaming landscape during the summit.
