In a significant stride for the iGaming sector, iGB and ICE have teamed up with SOFTSWISS to introduce the Tech Race Summit 2026. This event is designed to focus on engineering and technology discussions within the industry, assembling experts from leading tech firms to delve into the systems that underpin modern digital enterprises.
Scheduled for September 10, 2026, in Warsaw, Poland, the Tech Race Summit is set to feature prominent leaders from the realms of cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, cybersecurity, observability, and artificial intelligence. Notable participants include AWS, Google, Oracle, Cloudflare, Fastly, Gcore, and ScyllaDB.
WorldGaming will serve as the media partner for the Tech Race Summit, fostering a platform for the industry to engage in the critical discussions that the event will inspire. This dialogue is expected to carry over into ICE 2027.
The agenda for the Tech Race Summit will highlight key topics such as technical decision-making, real-world engineering insights, and the evolution of digital infrastructure. Despite the proliferation of industry events, opportunities for stakeholders to tackle technological challenges from an engineering standpoint in high-load sectors have been scarce.
Margaret Dunn, the portfolio director at WorldGaming, expressed, “Technology is becoming one of the defining forces in iGaming, yet dedicated engineering discussions have remained relatively rare. AI has emerged as a focal point in discussions across the iGaming landscape, with numerous companies embracing advanced language models. One noteworthy case is Cubeia, an iGaming platform provider, which utilizes AI to generate all its back and frontend code, thus enhancing its responsiveness to client updates.
The sector also witnesses AI applications in live casino scenarios and slot games. As AI continues to gain traction, the industry will confront challenges related to its widespread adoption and the tech giants driving these innovations.
