SPiCE Southeast Asia 2026 is set to take place from August 5 to 7 at The Landmark Bangkok in Thailand, uniting regulatory experts, operators, technology providers, and investors from across the region. As the gaming industry faces rapid changes in regulation, technology, and consumer demands, this event represents a crucial opportunity to evaluate the current state of the sector.

The agenda for this year spans three days, featuring a blend of policy discussions, strategic insights, and innovative developments. The event will kick off with the SP‘iCE’ Breaker Welcoming Evening and the prestigious SPiCE Southeast Asia Eventus Awards Ceremony, which will recognize the most impactful contributors to the industry, co-sponsored by K36 and Bally's Colombo.

On August 6, the focus will turn to operating within regulated markets through targeted sessions that will address the practical realities of regulatory frameworks, building resilient operational infrastructures, and enhancing KYC, AML, and fraud prevention measures. A session will also delve into strategic intelligence as a means for early risk detection.

The final day will concentrate on strategy and workforce development. Discussions will tackle the need for localization for Southeast Asia's diverse audiences, the strategic application of AI, and how businesses can cultivate teams that keep pace with rapid changes in the market. The day will conclude with a session centered on sustainable growth strategies.

Several notable speakers have previewed their contributions to the event. Evan Spytma, CEO of C+, will deliver the opening keynote titled ‘The Direction of Southeast Asia's Entertainment Economy.’ He emphasizes the region's transition from an emerging market to a key player in the global entertainment scene, stating, "As regulation evolves, technology accelerates, and consumer expectations shift, the question is no longer where the industry is heading, but who will shape its future."

Nikon J. Gormley, Board Member of the Bangkok Startup Association, will discuss ‘Responsible Participation and Consumer Protection,’ asserting that, "Responsible participation isn’t a compliance box to tick – it’s about cutting through the noise to build genuine trust and safety for the consumer."

Priya Ahlawat, Founder of Jumping Play Studio and Asia Ambassador for Eventus International, will join the panel ‘Visibility, Trust, and Market Engagement.’ She believes that strong brands stem from consistency and meaningful engagement, planning to share practical insights on fostering trust with partners and creating long-term opportunities.
