Insights from SOFTSWISS CTO Ahead of Tech Race Summit 2026

In anticipation of the Tech Race Summit 2026, Sergey Kastukevich, chief technology officer at SOFTSWISS, shared insights on the event and the role of artificial intelligence in the iGaming sector during an interview with Margaret Dunn, portfolio director at WorldGaming.

Scheduled for September 10 in Warsaw, the Tech Race Summit aims to unite experts in the technology underpinning modern digital businesses. Kastukevich noted that while discussions about business in iGaming have flourished, there remains a significant lack of focused dialogue surrounding engineering and technological advancements. He emphasized that Tech Race Summit is designed not as a sales platform for SOFTSWISS but as a knowledge-sharing environment where senior technologists can concentrate on crucial investment areas for the next six to twelve months.

Dunn highlighted the growing demand observed last year at ICE, which included the Innovator Challenge and keynotes from prominent companies like AWS and Huawei. In response, the introduction of Hall 7 creates a more robust platform aimed at fostering further innovation in iGaming. The events in Warsaw and at ICE in Barcelona this January are set to form interconnected discussions, providing a continuum for CTOs, CSOs, and data leaders to engage.

The emphasis on assembling the right individuals in a collaborative setting is seen as a more effective approach than attempting to connect with them individually around the world. The interview also touches upon the prevalent discussion of AI in the industry, bringing attention to whether it is genuinely impactful or merely a buzzword.
