Allwyn Reports 27% Revenue Growth Fueled by PrizePicks Acquisition

Allwyn has reported a notable increase in its net revenue for the second quarter of 2026, reaching €1.2 billion, a 27% rise from the same period last year. This growth has been largely attributed to the acquisition of PrizePicks and continuing expansion in its European markets.

The company also achieved an adjusted EBITDA of €458 million, marking a 29% increase and a 37% margin. When excluding the impact of PrizePicks and considering the rise in gaming taxes in Austria, the underlying revenue growth rate was 5%.

Allwyn credits its strong quarterly performance to advances in digital operations, particularly in sports betting and iGaming, coupled with the contributions from PrizePicks.

CEO Robert Chvátal remarked on the company’s success, saying, "After a very positive Q1, I’m pleased to announce further strong performance in the second quarter, with group net revenue increasing by 27% year-on-year, to €1.2bn, and adjusted EBITDA increasing by 29%, to €458m. This reflects the strength of our strategy and our success in executing it, as demonstrated by sustained momentum in continental Europe and the contribution from PrizePicks."

The increase in sports betting activity can also be linked to the upcoming FIFA World Cup in 2026, alongside enhanced profits in the UK following significant enhancements to The National Lottery’s technology. The operations of PrizePicks, founded in 2023, have expanded in North America with the introduction of PlayerPicks, TeamPick, and prediction markets in addition to fantasy sports features.

Allwyn has launched new lottery games across Austria, the Czech Republic, and the UK, also becoming the first operator outside the USA to offer Powerball.
