OpenBet announced on Tuesday that it has reached an agreement to acquire OmniLogic, a specialist in sportsbook solutions. This acquisition aims to bolster OpenBet's footprint in regulated lottery markets while enhancing its sportsbook offerings for Tier 1 operators.
Pending regulatory approvals, the deal is anticipated to close in 2026.
The addition of OmniLogic aligns with OpenBet's strategy to strengthen its market position in lotteries, which the company considers a crucial area for future growth. Nikos Konstakis, president of OpenBet, stated that the acquisition is “a natural extension” of the firm’s ongoing efforts to support operators in highly regulated markets. He underscored the importance of lotteries in their growth strategy, noting that OmniLogic has established a solid reputation through longstanding relationships with customers and a keen understanding of their needs.
Founded by Vicente Torrejón and Dávid Márk Gábor, OmniLogic has built a reputation over the past decade for delivering sportsbook technology specifically for regulated lottery operators and members of the World Lottery Association (WLA).
The leadership at OmniLogic views the integration with OpenBet as a major opportunity, emphasizing access to a broader scale, capabilities, and product portfolio. Their platform facilitates omnichannel betting throughout the EMEA region, equipped with integrated trading, risk management, and back-office functionalities.
Torrejón and Gábor commented on their commitment to providing reliable technology and building enduring partnerships, stating that joining OpenBet allows them to enhance these foundations as a part of a leading sportsbook entity. The collaboration promises to deliver additional scale and advanced capabilities to their customers while preserving the specialized knowledge that OmniLogic has maintained.
Last year, OpenBet underwent a management buyout worth $450 million, where CEO Jordan Levin and senior executives took control of the platform from Endeavor. Levin remarked that this new phase would position OpenBet to more effectively drive market expansion and product innovation, shaping the future of betting and gaming entertainment.
