OpenBet has announced its agreement to acquire sportsbook company OmniLogic, a move aimed at bolstering its presence in regulated lottery markets and enhancing its sportsbook offerings for Tier 1 operators.
Subject to regulatory approvals, the acquisition is anticipated to be finalized in 2026.
The incorporation of OmniLogic is expected to provide OpenBet with robust technology, specialized expertise, and established partnerships that will enhance its global business. OpenBet has touted OmniLogic as "the partner of choice for lotteries worldwide."
Nikos Konstakis, OpenBet’s president, referred to the acquisition as “a natural extension” of the company’s strategy to cater to operators in highly regulated markets. He underscored that lotteries are crucial for future growth, stating they “remain the core focus of our growth strategy, and OmniLogic has built a strong reputation in this sector through long-standing customer partnerships and a deep understanding of their requirements.”
OmniLogic, co-founded by Vicente Torrejón and Dávid Márk Gábor, has spent over a decade establishing itself by providing sportsbook technology to regulated lottery operators, including members of the World Lottery Association (WLA).
The leadership of OmniLogic noted that aligning with OpenBet offers significant advantages due to the latter’s broader scale, capabilities, and diverse product portfolio. OmniLogic’s platform provides omnichannel betting solutions across the EMEA region, complete with integrated trading, risk management, and back-office functionalities.
Torrejón and Gábor stated, “Our focus has always been on providing our customers with reliable technology, deep expertise and long-term partnership. Joining OpenBet gives us the opportunity to build on that foundation as part of one of the world’s leading sportsbook businesses. For our customers, it brings the additional scale, capabilities, and product portfolio of OpenBet while maintaining the specialist knowledge and continuity they value today.”
Last year, OpenBet underwent a management buyout for $450 million, enabling CEO Jordan Levin and senior executives to gain control from Endeavor. Levin remarked, “As this new chapter begins, OpenBet is better positioned than ever to drive market expansion and product innovation while defining the future of betting and gaming entertainment.”
