NorthStar Gaming has named Corey Goodman as its permanent CEO during a challenging financial period for the company. Goodman, who previously served as interim CEO, played a crucial role in steering the organization through financial and operational turmoil stemming from incomplete reporting and audits.
Alongside Goodman’s appointment, Ben Powell has stepped in as the interim CFO after Chin Dhushenthen's resignation on August 17, 2026. Powell has been with NorthStar since its inception, assisting the company with various financial and capital challenges. Additionally, Krisztina Kalla joins the executive board as vice president of compliance.
Dean MacDonald, chair of the board, praised Goodman's contributions during this trying time, stating, "Corey has brought focus and discipline to the Company at a pivotal time, and the Board has full confidence in his leadership as NorthStar completes its outstanding financial reporting and continues to strengthen the business."
Goodman expressed satisfaction in welcoming both Ben Powell and Krisztina Kalla to their new roles, emphasizing that the enhancement of finance and compliance functions will benefit the company’s future operations.
