In the second quarter of 2026, Allwyn reported a net revenue of €1.2 billion, marking a significant 27% increase from the same period last year. This growth has been largely attributed to the acquisition of PrizePicks and the continued expansion of its European operations. During this period, Allwyn achieved adjusted EBITDA of €458 million, reflecting a 29% increase and a margin of 37%. When excluding the contributions from PrizePicks and accounting for increased gaming taxes in Austria, the underlying revenue growth rate stood at 5%.
Allwyn attributed its strong quarterly results to advancements in digital operations and the successful integration of sports betting and iGaming strategies, which were further enhanced by PrizePicks. CEO Robert Chvátal noted, "After a very positive Q1, I’m pleased to announce further strong performance in the second quarter, with group net revenue increasing by 27% year-on-year, to €1.2bn, and adjusted EBITDA increasing by 29%, to €458m. This reflects the strength of our strategy and our success in executing it, as demonstrated by sustained momentum in continental Europe and the contribution from PrizePicks."
The company's sports betting segment benefited from the impending FIFA World Cup in 2026, coupled with increased profits in the UK following the completion of a technical upgrade to The National Lottery.
Established in 2023, PrizePicks has been expanding its operations in North America, connecting PlayerPicks and TeamPick while also launching prediction markets and fantasy sports offerings. Additionally, Allwyn has introduced new lottery games in Austria, the Czech Republic, and the UK, making it the first operator outside the USA to sell Powerball tickets.
