DigiPlus Interactive Corp. has joined Brazil’s Institute of Responsible Gaming (IBJR), marking a significant step in its expansion efforts in the country through its BingoPlus brand. The IBJR boasts membership from operators managing over 60% of Brazil’s regulated betting sector, focusing on combating illegal activities and promoting responsible gaming practices.
Carlos Lima, the CEO of IBJR, stated that DigiPlus' membership signifies a positive development for Brazil's regulated betting sector. Graham Tidey, Managing Director of DigiPlus Brazil, emphasized that joining the IBJR is a reflection of their growth in Brazil, where the company is actively operating BingoPlus and making ongoing investments to enhance its market presence.
Tidey also mentioned that the company intends to apply its expertise from the Philippine gaming market to ensure its growth in Brazil is responsible and compliant with local regulations. While the announcement concentrated on BingoPlus, it did not address the future of GamePlus, a platform launched in October 2025, which remains uncertain.
