Evenbeter and Headshot Unveil Research on iGaming Employment Trends

Evenbeter, which was previously known as EvenBet Gaming, has partnered with Headshot, an international recruitment agency, to launch a significant project: an independent study titled "The State of iGaming Teams 2026–2027: Why People Stay. Why They Leave. What Leaders Can Do Next." This initiative aims to address the intense competition for talent within the iGaming industry, where the costs of losing skilled employees continue to escalate. The study seeks to bridge the gap in understanding between employers and employees regarding expectations, as current industry-wide data on employee retention is largely lacking.

Daria Fot, the Human Resources Director at Evenbeter, stated that the research's objective is to construct a comprehensive picture of team dynamics in the iGaming sector while providing actionable recommendations for increasing employee retention. The study is designed as a valuable resource for CEOs and founders, equipping them with the insights needed to make informed, data-driven decisions. It aims to illuminate the real costs associated with losing key specialists and enable HR and Team Leaders to benchmark their practices against industry standards, allowing for the identification of areas ripe for development.

The data collection process will commence on September 3 and continue until October 1, 2026, incorporating both online and offline surveys as well as interviews. The final report is set to be published in late November 2026 and will cover several important areas, including:

– An overview of the project’s framework, methodology, and profiles of respondents.
– An analysis of the reasons professionals leave their positions and the factors that motivate retention.
– Insights into how specialists select their next employers.
– Evaluations of management culture and the real experiences of employees.
– An assessment of burnout levels and workload challenges.
– A comparative analysis detailing discrepancies between what companies deem important and what employees actually value.
– Insights into evolving expectations among specialists for 2026–2027.
– Practical conclusions and recommendations for employers.

Polina Kapitonova, CEO of Headshot, added that typical market averages often fail to provide meaningful insights for individual companies. The research intends to segment results by professional experience, job function, and geographical location to reveal nuanced reasons for employee retention and departures across various contexts.

The study organizers have encouraged all iGaming professionals, from entry-level specialists to CEOs, to participate in the survey, which can be accessed through the provided link. To incentivize participation, a prize draw featuring valuable rewards will be held for all respondents.
