Cubeia Launches Upgraded Poker Client with PixiJS Engine

Cubeia, the iGaming software provider based in Sweden, has unveiled a significant upgrade to its poker client, which is now reconstructed using the PixiJS rendering engine. This WebGL-based engine is known for powering some of the internet's most advanced real-time graphics.

The upgrade represents a major milestone since the initial launch of Cubeia Poker in 2009, as the new engine enhances graphics, animation quality, and overall performance across devices. The poker client has undergone a complete redesign, featuring updated cards, player badges, and progress bars, along with revamped dealing and winning animations. As a result, players can expect a platform that rivals the most contemporary poker clients available today.

One notable addition is the display of the number of outs available during all-in scenarios, which simplifies the understanding of critical hands and makes gameplay more engaging. Behind the scenes, Cubeia has improved the timeline management system—responsible for the coordination of gameplay actions and animations—resulting in a smoother sequence of events during each hand.

Key features of the upgraded Cubeia Poker client include:
– A PixiJS-based client engine
– A redesigned interface with updated cards, badges, and progress bars
– Enhanced animations for dealing and winning
– Visual representation of player outs during all-in situations
– An improved timeline management system for more consistent action
– A 20% increase in table load speeds

Simon Isbäck, the Product Owner for Poker at Cubeia, commented, "This is much more than a visual refresh. We have rebuilt the foundations of the poker client, and that shows up in how the game feels to play — faster, smoother, and easier to follow. It also gives us a base we can keep building on."

For operators, every visual element in the client can be customized using standard CSS, ensuring that the poker room can seamlessly integrate with existing sites. The HTML5-based client functions across any browser and device without the need for an app. Additionally, operators can join Cubeia’s hybrid poker network at no cost, which guarantees immediate liquidity alongside a promotional campaign worth $25,000 per month funded by Cubeia.

The enhanced Cubeia Poker client will be accessible to operators starting September 10th.
