Evenbeter and Headshot Launch Employment Research on iGaming Teams

Evenbeter, a prominent B2B provider of online gaming solutions, has partnered with international recruitment agency Headshot to announce the launch of a significant joint initiative: a comprehensive industry research study entitled "The State of iGaming Teams 2026–2027: Why People Stay. Why They Leave. What Leaders Can Do Next."
The iGaming sector faces fierce competition for talent, and the stakes are high. The cost of losing valuable personnel is escalating, and there often exists a disconnect between the expectations of employees and employers. Notably, there is a lack of extensive industry-wide data examining employee retention.
Daria Fot, the Human Resources Director at Evenbeter, commented on the research’s objectives. "Our aim is to create a complete picture of team dynamics within iGaming and provide actionable recommendations for retaining employees."
The study is designed to serve as a vital resource for CEOs and Founders, equipping them to make informed decisions based on data and better comprehend the financial implications of losing key talent. It will also help HR and Team Leaders to compare their strategies with industry standards and pinpoint areas needing improvement, fostering a common understanding across the industry regarding the factors influencing employee retention.
The data collection phase is set to commence on September 3 and will continue until October 1, 2026. This will involve a combination of online and offline surveys, as well as interviews. The final report is expected to be released in late November 2026 and will cover several important facets, including:
– An overview of the project’s framework, methodology, and respondent demographics.
– An analysis of why professionals leave and the factors contributing to retention.
– Criteria influencing specialists' decisions when selecting a new employer.
– Insights into management culture and authentic employee experiences.
– Evaluations of challenges related to burnout and workload.
– A comparative analysis of what companies deem important versus employee values.
– Changing expectations among specialists for 2026–2027.
– Practical conclusions and suggestions for employers.
Polina Kapitonova, Headshot’s CEO, emphasized the tailored nature of the analysis, stating, "Market-wide averages provide limited insights for individual companies. We will dissect the findings by factors such as professional experience, job function, and geographical location to illustrate the reasons behind employee retention and turnover."
All iGaming professionals, from entry-level staff to team leaders and executives, are invited to participate in the survey via a provided link. To encourage involvement, a special prize draw will be organized for participants, featuring valuable rewards.
