Play971, the first licensed online gambling platform in the United Arab Emirates, has secured content partnerships with two prominent gaming suppliers: IGT and Endorphina. Announced on July 21, these agreements expand Play971’s offerings by incorporating IGT’s PlayDigital catalog alongside a selection of themed slot games from Endorphina.
Philippa Bowland, the commercial gaming director at Play971, expressed the company's dedication to responsible gaming and premium entertainment in welcoming these two respected industry providers. "We are proud to welcome IGT and Endorphina — two globally respected brands — as we continue raising the standard for gaming," she stated.
In highlighting its offerings, IGT mentioned its legacy titles, including Blackjack, Cleopatra, and Cats. Gil Rotem, IGT’s CEO of Digital, described the partnership as one “rooted in innovation and integrity” aimed at fostering the growth of the UAE market.
Lohith Chittajallu, Endorphina’s Senior Manager of Partnerships & Expansion, noted the excitement in joining a market that remains in its early stages. "We believe this partnership opens the door to new opportunities, and we can’t wait for players to experience the entertainment and quality that Endorphina is known for," he remarked.
Endorphina obtained its gaming-related vendor license in May, allowing it to provide gaming products and services throughout the Emirates while adhering to the compliance and oversight of the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA).
Play971 made its debut late last year, becoming the UAE's inaugural licensed gambling operator. Since its launch, the platform has quickly worked on expanding its content library and commercial initiatives, such as enlisting former Australian cricketer Brett Lee as a brand ambassador and introducing a football betting service for customers in the UAE last month.
The GCGRA, established in 2023, oversees gambling regulation in the Emirates, including licensing management.
