Play971, the first fully licensed online gambling platform in the United Arab Emirates, has established significant partnerships with two leading gaming suppliers, IGT and Endorphina. These agreements, announced on July 21, introduce IGT’s acclaimed PlayDigital catalog alongside selected themed slot games from Endorphina to Play971's offerings.
Philippa Bowland, the commercial gaming director at Play971, reiterated the company's dedication to providing responsible gaming and high-quality entertainment. She expressed pride in associating with IGT and Endorphina, two respected international brands, stating, "We are proud to welcome IGT and Endorphina — two globally respected brands — as we continue raising the standard for gaming."
IGT emphasized its contribution of classic titles like Blackjack, Cleopatra, and Cats. Gil Rotem, IGT’s CEO of Digital, described the partnership as one rooted "in innovation and integrity," aimed at fostering sustainable growth in the UAE market.
Lohith Chittajallu, Endorphina’s Senior Manager of Partnerships & Expansion, expressed enthusiasm for entering a market that is still emerging. Endorphina obtained its gaming-related vendor license in May, allowing it to provide gaming products and services across the Emirates under the compliance of the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority.
Launched in late 2022, Play971 stands as the UAE's first licensed gambling operator, rapidly expanding its content library and business operations. Among these activities is the recruitment of former Australian cricketer Brett Lee as a brand ambassador, and the recent introduction of a football betting product for customers based in the UAE.
Play971 received its license from the GCGRA, an authority established in 2023 to oversee gambling regulation in the Emirates and manage licensing.
