ChatBet has teamed up with iSolutions to broaden the reach of its AI-powered conversational betting experiences throughout Africa and other emerging markets.
This partnership allows operators on the iSolutions platform to implement ChatBet's technology, enabling users to engage in betting activities via popular messaging apps like WhatsApp and Telegram, as well as through web or app-based chat tools.
The collaboration aims to enhance user experience by allowing bettors to navigate channels they are familiar with, sidestepping the complexities often associated with traditional sportsbook apps and mobile websites.
Africa presents a significant opportunity for conversational betting, with messaging platforms already central to consumer communication, transactions, and brand engagement.
By merging iSolutions' platform capabilities and regional operator connections with ChatBet's expertise in conversational interfaces, the two companies hope to create a more user-friendly, accessible, and locally relevant betting environment.
According to Josh Swerdlow, founder and CEO of ChatBet, "iSolutions gives us a strong platform partner for expanding across Africa and other high-growth markets.
“In many of these markets, messaging is already the primary digital interface. The opportunity is not to force players into another app, but to allow them to discover, engage and transact through conversations they already understand.
“This partnership will significantly ease the process for iSolutions operators to add conversational betting as a new acquisition, engagement, and transactional channel."
Filippo Ceci, co-founder and director of iSolutions, remarked, "Our policy at iSolutions has always been to integrate the best products available on the market, based on the choices of our clients and backed by our consultancy.
“Our operators drive their own business strategies. Our role is to support those choices with the right technology and the right partners.
“The partnership with ChatBet reflects exactly that approach. Conversational betting is particularly well suited to Africa and other mobile-first markets, and we are pleased to make the technology available across our operator network."
ChatBet and iSolutions have begun initial deployments with operators and expect to continue launching their services across the platform's network.
ChatBet aims to transform digital betting. In April, Bola Group unveiled ChatBet, claiming it to be Africa's first conversational betting platform.
Bola Group CEO Hilton Hasson emphasized the significance of this launch for both the company and the wider African betting market.
“Our teams have spent six months working on something that has never existed in Africa before,” Hasson stated.
“WhatsApp is already in everyone’s pocket, high data costs limit traditional platforms, and sports betting remains heavily underserved digitally in this market, and ChatBet addresses all three issues.
ChatBet initially debuted in Zambia with plans to expand further, already targeting Zimbabwe and Malawi for new launches.
