iGB and ICE have joined forces with SOFTSWISS to launch the Tech Race Summit 2026, an event set to champion discussions on engineering and technology in the iGaming sector. Scheduled for September 10, 2026, in Warsaw, Poland, the summit will bring together industry leaders from cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, cybersecurity, observability, and AI, featuring prominent companies such as AWS, Google, Oracle, Cloudflare, Fastly, Gcore, and ScyllaDB.
The event will be supported by WorldGaming as its media partner, fostering engagement in conversations that begin at the summit and will continue into ICE 2027. The program will emphasize technical decision-making, real-world engineering experiences, and the future of digital infrastructure. Despite the multitude of industry events each year, there has been a noticeable gap in opportunities for stakeholders to address the technology challenges faced by high-load industries from an engineering viewpoint.
Margaret Dunn, portfolio director at WorldGaming, stated, “Technology is becoming one of the defining forces in iGaming, yet dedicated engineering discussions have remained relatively rare. As we will be focusing on this topic at ICE 2027, we are pleased to support Tech Race Summit 2026.” She added, “Encouraging knowledge sharing across the industry is something we see as an important responsibility, and we believe these conversations will benefit the entire sector.”
SOFTSWISS CTO Sergey Kastukevich highlighted that the event will "create an opportunity to exchange practical experience and better understand where cloud infrastructure, AI, and high-load systems are heading next."
As AI continues to dominate discussions within the iGaming sector, its implementation is becoming widespread. An example includes Cubeia, an iGaming platform provider that utilizes AI to generate its backend and frontend code, enhancing its speed in client updates. Additionally, AI integration is seen in live casino and slot offerings. With the rise of AI, the broader challenges concerning its adoption and the tech giants supporting these models are increasingly relevant.
Early bird tickets for the Tech Race Summit are available until July 31 on the Tech Race website.
