Penn Entertainment Reports $32.6 Million Profit in Q2 2026

Penn Entertainment reported a net income of $32.6 million for Q2 2026, marking a notable recovery from the losses experienced during the same period last year. This is a continuation of the company’s recovery, as it reduced its losses to $2.8 million in Q1 before returning to profitability in Q2.

In the last quarter, revenue climbed 5% year-on-year, reaching $1.86 billion, while adjusted EBITDA increased by 32%, totaling $312.6 million compared to $236.1 million in Q1 2025.

CEO Jay Snowden emphasized that Penn is concentrating on strategies aimed at growing cash flow, reducing administrative costs, enhancing profitability across its segments, and strengthening the balance sheet.

The company reported EBITDA growth in all operational segments across the Northeast, South, Midwest, and West regions of the U.S. Despite a slight decline in revenues from the South segment, overall profitability for the business improved.

The Interactive segment remains unprofitable, though losses have significantly decreased this quarter, showing adjusted EBITDA losses of $9.5 million compared to $62 million in Q1 2025. Following the conclusion of the ESPN Bet branding partnership in 2025, Penn has been adjusting its online strategy with a stronger focus on the Canadian market and the expanding U.S. iCasino sector.
