Gambling.com Group has transitioned to a new identity, now operating as Grandstand Limited. This change marks a shift from its roots as a gambling affiliate firm to a broader focus on sports, media, and technology. The official rebranding took place on July 23, coinciding with its new stock exchange ticker, GRSD.
Kevin McCrystle, the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder, stated that the new name is representative of the company’s significant evolution over time. He explained, "Grandstand better describes our position as the intelligence layer powering informed decisions for consumers and partners across sports, gaming and entertainment. There have never been more interesting opportunities in front of us, and we are excited for what’s ahead."
This milestone highlights the journey of the firm since it went public in 2021. Despite the rebranding, the Gambling.com website will continue to operate under its original name. The company has grown and diversified significantly, expanding through various acquisitions and product development. It now manages a variety of consumer brands including Gambling.com, Casinos.com, WhichBingo, OddsJam, and RotoWire.
The decision to shift to Grandstand Limited not only reflects the company's growth but also establishes a clearer distinction between the public company and its well-known consumer brand, Gambling.com, while signaling that its portfolio now reaches far beyond merely gambling affiliate marketing.
