Gambling.com Group has officially undergone a rebranding, now known as Grandstand Limited. This change marks a pivotal shift from being solely a gambling affiliate firm to establishing itself as a player in the sports, media, and technology sectors. The rebranding took effect on July 23, and the company is now identified on the stock exchange with the ticker GRSD.
Kevin McCrystle, the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder, expressed that the new name reflects their current identity after significant growth. "Grandstand better describes our position as the intelligence layer powering informed decisions for consumers and partners across sports, gaming and entertainment. There have never been more interesting opportunities in front of us, and we are excited for what’s ahead," McCrystle stated.
This rebranding is a notable milestone for the company, especially in light of its public listing in 2021. Despite the new corporate identity, the Gambling.com site will continue to function as usual. Over the years, the company has diversified significantly, branching out through various acquisitions and product developments. It currently boasts several consumer brands, including Gambling.com, Casinos.com, WhichBingo, OddsJam, and RotoWire.
The name change is also intended to clarify the relationship between the public-facing company and its prominent consumer brand. While Gambling.com will retain its established name, Grandstand will serve as the overarching identity for a portfolio that management claims extends beyond gambling affiliate marketing.
